well it was for me, once the new version of guildwars came my antivirus software started to block it.

If you talk to the guildwars support they will end up telling you to disable all your startup programs and services.

click on the Start button, select Run, type MSCONFIG and click OK. This should open the System Configuration Utility. Click on the Startup tab and make sure that ALL entries listed are unchecked. Then click on the Services tab and select Hide All Microsoft Services, then click on Disable All. Once that is done, clicking either OK or Apply should prompt you to restart your computer, which you should do before attempting to play the game again. Do not start any other programs and then try the game again.

Well Gabe3 i tried the startup thing but it didn't work.

I'm really confused by this....because i haven't made any new changes to my laptop or has my ISP.

Except that i DL the new update and then i couldn't log back on.

Is it possbile to try it on another computer with my account and see if it works?

While I've been able to get on I keep getting kicked off. Right before I got the bonus on Elona Reach twice. It's odd because it always happens a few seconds after the you've been playing for 1 hour message. Anyone else get this?

I get an Error 7 and restart to find a new update. Download it with no problem and now I can't log on. At the same time the GW site isn't loading and finally now Guru came back online. Anyone else having these issues?

Yep, same here. Err=007, then can't login. GW site is down, and Guru was too there for a bit.

Yes, me and some guildies can't even log on. However the Guild Wars site is working now, but they say nothing on the network news section.
